Established in 2016, Mission Contracting has a proven track record of providing high quality and responsive services to commercial and governmental clients.

Desiree Grillo - President

 

Desiree Grillo is the recognized leader of the company and has experience in the residential housing and commercial construction industry. Desiree also is responsible for the company Business development, marketing and public relations, expenditures, business operations, development implementation, and enforcement of expenditures for business operations, employment matters, compensation, and Safety matters for Mission. Desiree is dedicated to doing what is necessary and right for her employees, and customers at any cost. Desiree’s passion, honesty, and integrity inspire all of the company employees to be winners and perform their duties safely and professionally.

George Grillo Sr., C.P.A. - Chief Financial Officer

 

Mr. Grillo is responsible for the financial audits and tax planning for the company. He provides the implementation of computerized accounting and job cost systems for the company and also for implementation of internal control systems. Mr. Grillo is responsible for reporting to the CED and board of directors with management and financial recommendations.

Umesh Kumar. - Senior Project Manager/Estimator

 

Mr. Kumar has over 35 years of experience in commercial construction specializing in managing projects. Mr. Kumar has 20 years of experience in managing projects such as Government Contract work, Hotels, Banks, Condos, Apartments, Schools, Restaurants, Hospitals, and Commercial Office Buildings. Also, Mr. Kumar is experienced in working with NAVFAC, Army Corp of Engineers, D.O.D., GSA, FBI, and USDA government agencies.

Mr. Kumar is a self-starting team player with strong communication skills and demonstrates excellent problem solving abilities through thoroughness and logical approach

Sharon Ray — Environmental Project Manager

Ms. Ray has 40 years of government service and over 25 years managing government contracts for environmental remediation projects which include asbestos, lead, mold, perchlorate acid exhaust systems, and indoor air quality with HVAC system duct cleaning.  Ms. Ray also offers the latest technology in remediation and providing safety over site for all projects.

Kathy Ritchie — Project Manager

Mrs. Ritchie has 30 years of government experience with 18 years being in the

construction/landscaping consisting of maintenance and oversight of 580 acres to include,

excavation of underground utilities, snow removal, trees and all administrative duties

associated with supervision. The other 12 years was managing government contracts for

environmental remediation projects which included all asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air

quality with HVAC system duct cleaning, and Occupational Health and Safety oversite of

the Maintenance staff to ensure they had the most up to date safety equipment and

followed all regulatory requirements.  Mrs. Ritchie provides safety over site for all projects.
